ASIS Malaysia

Founded in 1955, ASIS International is a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets - people, property, and/or information. In 2009, ASIS International have approved the setup of a chapter in Malaysia to allow security professionals in Malaysia to be connected to the larger group of security professionals worldwide. ASIS Malaysia is located under Region 13B, chapter number 267.

ASIS is very well structured organization and has about 240 chapters all over the world.. It offers certification for professional development and opportunities for security personnel to enhance their skills. It also creates forums for networking and exchanging of ideas at the local and regional level. In ASIS Malaysia, membership is open to security practitioners who are citizens of Malaysia, and have evidenced some professional level of competencies in the security field.
By joining ASIS, members will be able to align themselves with over 35,000 global security professionals to network, share ideas and build relationships – which can help members on a day-to-day and throughout their career to achieve success. All ASIS certifications are internationally recognized.
